For the past couple of years, Amiras has overcome COVID and PV equipment shortages during a high demand period. Nowadays our manufacturing facilities are 100% powered by the sun, and soon after this, the rest of our on-field activities will become green based on our e-mobility initiative.
As a Project Promoter: SC AMIRAS C&L IMPEX SRL developed a PV microgrid installation with storage supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants Romania 2014-2021, in the frame of the Energy Programme in Romania (contract No. 2019/104287).
The Project name: Sun Power cooperation fusion for chEaper Electrical Devices manufacturing states our goal to become a green product manufacturer Made in Romania. With the help from our partners from Norway (HIOF and NxTech) and the support of Innovation Norway as a funding source, this project reached its final stage.
The PV system has 132kWp installed on >625sqm rooftop area and will produce over 153,800MWh/year.
The project outcome indicators:
a) Estimated annual CO2 emissions reductions (in tonnes CO2 eq./year): 47,04 tonnes of CO2eq/
b) Electric energy produced from other renewable sources- solar (in MWh/year): 153,713 MWh/year
will be demonstrated yearly based on our Energy Management System.
